2.5 New Vision Generation is a purpose-driven initiative committed to tackling one of the world’s most overlooked health challenges: vision impairment due to lack of access to affordable eye care. By bridging the gap between communities and quality vision solutions, 2.5 NVG empowers millions especially in underserved regions to see clearly, live fully, and unlock new opportunities in education, work, and daily life.

The name “2.5” represents the 2.5 billion people globally who suffer from uncorrected poor vision. This is more than a statistic, it’s a call to action.

Project Overview

To amplify awareness and inspire greater public engagement, we developed a social media strategy focused on storytelling, education, and social proof. The goal is to make the mission of 2.5 NVG visible and compelling by putting faces, voices, and stories behind the numbers. We aim to create a digital space that informs, moves, and mobilizes.

Through a combination of advocacy-driven content, success stories, and impact visuals, 2.5 New Vision Generation will not only raise awareness but build a growing community committed to vision equity.

Our approach is rooted in humanizing the impact. We spotlight real beneficiaries—students who can now read, workers who can now earn, elders who can now see their families clearly. Their transformation is at the heart of the story. These will be delivered through video testimonials, before-and-after features, and short-form narratives that speak directly to the viewer’s empathy and sense of purpose.

Educational content will address the broader issues: what uncorrected vision is, why access matters, and how simple solutions—like affordable glasses—can transform lives. Visuals will balance hope and urgency, using documentary-style photography, close-up emotional moments, and clear data points to keep the issue visible and real.
