SmartSIM is a product by PinjamWifi, designed to offer simple, fast, and flexible internet access for Indonesians traveling abroad. With SmartSIM’s eSIM technology, users can stay connected in multiple countries without the hassle of renting a pocket Wi-Fi or switching physical SIM cards. From Japan to Europe, SmartSIM provides instant data connectivity that supports everything from maps and messaging to content creation and work on the go helping travelers enjoy their journey without worrying about staying online.

Project Overview

To increase awareness and adoption of SmartSIM among Indonesian outbound travelers, we developed a social media strategy focused on convenience, travel scenarios, and peace of mind while abroad. Our goal is to position SmartSIM as the smartest and most seamless choice for international connectivity, ideal for solo travelers, family holidays, business trips, and study abroad needs.

Social media will not only drive traffic and sales, but also become a trusted destination for travel prep, tips, and connectivity solutions.

Our Approach

We focus on content that reflects real traveler needs: staying connected upon landing, navigating with ease, uploading content in real time, and avoiding expensive roaming fees. Content will highlight how SmartSIM works, through simple visuals, quick how-to videos, and side-by-side comparisons with traditional SIM or Wi-Fi rental options.

Lifestyle-driven visuals will feature travelers in key destinations using SmartSIM in everyday moments: checking directions in Tokyo, posting from Paris, or attending virtual meetings in Seoul. We will build narratives around the benefits of using SmartSIM abroad.

To build trust, we’ll feature testimonials, user-generated content, and travel influencers who show SmartSIM in action during their trips. Additionally, destination-specific campaigns will make the product more relatable for Indonesian audiences planning their next getaway.
